FEDMA Welcomes Hadewich Van Alst as Public Affairs Manager

3 December 2025

FEDMA is delighted to announce the appointment of Hadewich Van Alst as our new Public Affairs Manager. Hadewich brings a wealth of expertise in European law and public policy, with a strong focus on digital policies—an area of growing importance for our industry.

Before joining FEDMA, Hadewich served as Policy Advisor at Assuralia, the Belgian insurance trade association, where she worked on complex regulatory and policy issues. Her professional journey also includes valuable experience as a consultant and legal professional across various companies, equipping her with a broad perspective on compliance and governance challenges.

Hadewich holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Law (French Law and British Law) and a Master’s degree in European Law, underscoring her deep academic foundation in legal and regulatory matters.

Her appointment reinforces FEDMA’s commitment to representing the interests of the data-driven marketing industry at the European level, ensuring that innovation and compliance go hand in hand.

At FEDMA, our mission is to promote responsible data-driven marketing by advocating for balanced regulation, fostering innovation, and building trust between businesses and consumers. With Hadewich on board, we strengthen our ability to engage with policymakers and stakeholders on critical issues such as privacy, ethical AI, and digital transformation.

Please join us in welcoming Hadewich to the FEDMA team !
