[Opinion Piece] Marketing trends for 2025 – AI, Data, and the Rise of Retail Media

29 January 2025

Didier Farge, President of the International Club at Alliance Digitale & Board member of FEDMA and GDMA, wrote an article (in French) about the marketing trends for 2025. Among the key highlights:

  • The growing impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on marketing practices, particularly the increasing autonomy of AI tools.
  • The continued importance of data for AI success, as well as the rise of retail media, which is becoming a significant channel in digital advertising.
  • The resurgence of omnichannel strategies, with companies planning to invest in seamless customer experiences across both online and physical stores.

With the continued evolution of these trends, 2025 promises to be a pivotal year in shaping the future of digital marketing.
