FEDMA spoke at PrivacyConnect’s panel on GDPR Codes of Conduct

11 March 2021

Geraldine Proust, Director for Public Affairs at FEDMA, was invited by Tim Van Canneyt, Partner at Fieldfisher and Privacy Connect by Onetrust, at their Belgium chapter, to join a panel on GDPR Codes of Conduct. FEDMA was thrilled to discuss  with Antoine Bon from the Belgium supervisory authority and Ilse Haesaert from Agoria. The Belgium DPA recently published their strategy which includes the promotion of Codes of Conduct. FEDMA supports this tool for the implementation of the GDPR. Although the road can be long, FEDMA continues to support codes because they sustain trust, provide legal certainty and drive consistency. Codes of conduct enable a specific sector to discuss best practices. You can view the video of the panel discussion here PrivacyConnect Brussels | PrivacyConnect
