FEDMA answers New Consumer Agenda consultation
FEDMA submitted its response to the consultation for the EU’s new ‘Consumer Agenda‘. One question touched upon the possibility to introduce an opt out system for consumers from personalised offers and prices. FEDMA considers overall that current legislation already covers this issue.
FEDMA is currently working on the European Data Protection Board consultation on controllers, processors and joint controllers (07/2020) and also on targeting of social media users (08/2020).
FEDMA’s response is available here, and its additional position paper here.
