Adapting to privacy reforms increased the cost of doing business

20 Sep 2016;  Companies that are active in Europe and who are making changes in the way to meet the reforms of EU data protection laws must face increasing disturbances and higher costs.

Measures that companies can take to prepare themselves may include, for example, the involvement of expert consultants who will help to carry out an analysis of the compliance gap and provide strategic advice on how to respond to compliance with the GDPR. In addition, there are costs for the companies for the recruitment and training of data protection officers, many of which must be named according to the new legal framework. Read more
