Director General

Mr. Alastair Tempest

 

Alastair is responsible for implementing policy and overseeing the management of FEDMA, as well as coordinating lobbying, membership and recruitment activities, and looking for new business opportunities.

Government Affairs Manager

Mr. Wout van Wijk  

Wout coordinates FEDMA's Postal Committee, ensuring that its main goals, such as helping to ensure the implementation of EU postal regulation, and the further evolution and liberalisation of the postal market, are carried out. This mainly involves promoting these issues to the EU and other relevant bodies. Wout also manages the Postal Users Group, an alliance of Europe's major postal users, of which FEDMA holds the Secretariat; coordinates FEDMA's Environment Committee; and updates the FEDMA work programme in collaboration with the Legal Affairs Manager.

Legal Affairs

 Mr. Goetz Brandau

Goetz is responsible for FEDMA's Legal Affairs and Ethics Committees, ensuring that their lobby actions are co-ordinated, and then carrying out the Commitees' aims vis-à-vis the European Institutions and in collaboration with FEDMA's allies. He also deals with the ongoing drafting and updating of FEDMA's various Codes of Conduct; updates the FEDMA Work Programme; and deals with queries on European legislation relevant to Direct and Interactive Marketing.

PR & Communications Manager

Ms. Anne Marheim Storen

Anne is responsible for maintaining and developing FEDMA's overall PR and Communications strategy, targeting the general and trade press throughout Europe as well as FEDMA members and the wider DM community. She edits FEDMA's annual publications, produces one weekly and two monthly membership newsletters, and writes press releases on FEDMA's activities and views on current EU affairs. In addition, she is Project Manager on FEDMA’s European Direct Marketing certification programme, launched by the European Commission’s LEONARDO project.

She is also in charge of updating and developing FEDMA publications (Legal Fact Pack, Global Guide to Preference Services and Robinson Lists, Postal Fact Pack, Best of Europe and List Council Fact Pack) as well as she is also the main contact for the FEDMA website in terms of advertisement and other agreements. Questions about FEDMA membership and other general questions about pan-European direct and interactive marketing can also be directed to her.

Marketing & Membership Manager

Mr. Jørgen Nygaard Andreassen

 

Jørgen is responsible for the administration of FEDMA Membership and invoicing, general queries on direct marketing in Europe and FEDMA publications and seminars. He heads two FEDMA councils: the CRM Council and E-mail Marketing Council as well as being the List Council co-ordinator. He is the primary contact for questions on the FEDMA membership application procedure.

Sam mans the FEDMA reception and deals with all matters of office administration such as arranging printing and organising logistics of meetings.
