OECD Guidelines for Consumers protection in the context of electronic Commerce
The Guidelines are designed to help ensure that consumers are no less protected when shopping online than they are when they buy from their local store or order from a catalogue.

The ICC's Principles for Responsible Advertising and Marketing over the Internet, World Wide Web, Online Services and Electronic Networks follows the well-established policy of the ICC of promoting high standards of ethics in marketing via self-regulatory codes intended to complement the existing frameworks of national and international law. BBBOnLine is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Council of Better Business Bureaus (BBB). Its mission is to promote trust and confidence on the Internet through the BBBOnLine Reliability and BBBOnLine Privacy programs.

US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) - Publications Consumers/Business
The US Federal Trade Commission publishes a large variety of materials on business and consumer protection laws.
